Saturday Supplement: Business Update

Think of Wright English at the moment like a rollercoaster. Because of Covid a few people had to get off the roller coaster. They felt sick and couldn’t afford to keep going around anymore. There have been lots of people asking questions about getting on the rollercoaster, but they can’t afford the ticket at the moment. The queue is nice and long but it’s the same people going around and around having a wonderful time!

As for the future, there are plans in the pipeline. I hope to expand the free social event side of Wright English, but because of financial difficulty, there have not been as many students as I would need to launch online events. I hope this changes in future and we can begin socialising and practicing English together in groups. The website is being updated with new class types including 11+ (Grammar School) exam preparation lessons and maintenance lessons for advanced English speakers who wish to keep their excellent English fit and healthy with a native speaking teacher.

My fluffy colleagues are big, heavy, sleepy, and happy. I still have not managed to convince them to teach lessons, but I have taught Nanook to say “No” and Kodi to say “Wow”.

As usual during a worldwide recession and a global pandemic, things are difficult at the moment. This is not a surprise to anyone! However, if there are any people you could share Wright English’s services with, please do. I would be delighted to take new people on my rollercoaster, or even lengthen the queue for when people are more able to invest in language learning.
