Saturday Supplement: The 2021 English Teaching Convention

2021teachingconvention.jpg

Things have been a bit slow at Wright English lately, so I tried visiting some local planets, but it turns out they don’t have Wi-Fi.

This long period of lockdown and money difficulties has affected Wright English quite badly. Some well-meaning friends have encouraged me to give up on Wright English, and look for a job as an employee. I know why people are suggesting this. Life is difficult at the moment, and money is tight (I do not have much). I have faith in Wright English, the way I teach, and the future of my company, so I will not be giving up on that future. I don’t think it makes sense to give up on my dream at the first sign of difficulty.

I started a company at the beginning of an extremely challenging pandemic and a recession (a time when people do not have much money). I knew this would be difficult. To be honest, I thought it would be this difficult at the beginning, I did not expect it now.

I will not be giving up, but it is a little lonely at Wright English at the moment. Any help you can offer by liking, sharing, and talking to the people you know about the lessons I offer, will make the most difference now. Thank you to everyone who has talked about this little company, and shared my dream. It means the world to me, and the little Wright English community who love the way they learn.
