Kids Corner: School Support English Tutoring

So, you are finding schoolwork a little difficult because of the English? Maybe English is not your first language, maybe you are dyslexic, or maybe you are just a little unlucky and don’t have a very supportive teacher. That’s OK, we can work together to catch you up with everyone else very quickly.

To help you get to where you need to be, I teach School Support English Tutoring lessons. What are they? Well, it’s really simple: They are whatever you need them to be! Some of my students need help reading and writing, so we work on literacy together. Some students have problems with their English pronunciation, so this is where we focus. Many of my students find English literature a challenge, so we follow your school course at the same time and go into more detail in the books, plays, and films you are learning about.

What makes my School Support classes different is that it always fits what you are learning at school. We will look at the same texts, practice the same skills, and always focus on the areas you need the most. Another thing that makes them different is I LOVE English literature. Trust me the passion is infectious! We will talk about Shakespeare in everyday understandable English. We will make jokes, do homework that’s funny but still helps you learn, and we will think about things in ways that open your eyes to what it was like to live in those times, or that place, or with those people.

Does this sound fun to you? Then book a free trial! Lessons are all online, flexible, and designed just for you. We always learn together privately, so you get 100% of my time and energy.
