Wednesday Wildcard: Quick and Easy English Vocabulary learning

When I was learning French, Spanish, and German, I had a lot of new vocabulary to learn. I always found the best way was to use post-it notes. There are some little tricks to learning new words quickly.

1.       Get some post-it notes in different colours. Use each colour for something different. Blue for phrases? Green for nouns? Whatever works for you.

2.       Put the post-it notes somewhere you go often. I use the back of the bathroom door! Every time I pee, I practice my vocabulary!

3.       Keep the post-it note there until you know the new vocabulary so well, you do not need it anymore.

It is a very simple trick that I learned at school and I still use it when there are new things I need to learn. Quick, cheap, and effective!

What tips and tricks do you have for learning new vocabulary? Share it in the comments below and we can all learn from each other.
