Saturday Supplement: Head of IR injured in vicious rat attack

Breaking News: Kodi Betts, Head of Inhuman Resources (IR) for Wright English, has been seriously injured in a vicious rat attack.

Sources state that the top management kitty returned home with a noticeable limp (not walking normally on one leg) on the evening of Thursday the 9th of September. The following morning however, Mr Betts’ health had seriously declined (got worse). He was reported to be limping on a front and back leg, and appeared to be in pain while walking.

Lana Betts, Wright English Director, is reported to have immediately taken the executive to an emergency veterinary appointment. Kodi was found to have a large puncture wound (a hole) to the front left arm, and a smaller wound to a back leg. His front leg is reported to have a large swelling (getting fat and puffy), likely due to a bacterial infection caused by a bite from a large rat.

It is unclear whether Kodi instigated the rat fight, or was an innocent bystander when the rodent (rat/mouse animal) savagely attacked and injured him. Our sources say however, that it is likely Kodi started the fight with an extremely large rat because he attacks everything with a mouse-like tail, and thinks he is about 5 times larger than he really is.

Kodi is said to be relaxing at home with his family, who are also his colleagues. He is on a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicine, and is being given pain killers to manage his discomfort (feeling uncomfortable).

That’s all from Wright English News this week.
