Business Builder: Business English for Agriculture

I am not here to tell you how to sell produce, how to cultivate top tier orchards, or even how to network with investors. You know more about all of that than I ever will. I’m here to talk about how improving your English language skills can open even more doors to you and your business.

With good English language skills, you can comfortably deal directly with English speaking suppliers, business partners, and potential new direct clients. Have you thought about working with modern restaurants or coffee shops that promise their produce is direct from the grower? You can cut out the middleman and reap the profits of a wholesaler as the manufacturer. What if you could work directly with potential growers of your modified seeds to explain to them, as an expert, how your seeds will revolutionise their business?

Improving your language skills can only improve your business. You can put yourself next to the end user, the wholesaler, the client, or the investor, and share your passion with them. You can remove the wholesale link in your chain. You can do all of this, and open up your business to trade with the UK, Canada, The USA, South Africa, and all the business people throughout the world who trade using English as an international language. You can do this with Business English lessons for Agriculture with Wright English.

Not sure it’s for you? Book a free 1-hour private lesson with me, Lana Betts, at Wright English. We will discuss your business, what areas you could improve your English in, and how we could do it in private online lessons at a time that is convenient for you.
