Vocabulary Showcase: Synonyms for “support”
We are living in strange times. We can survive these times together if we support each other. Let’s look at synonyms for “support” and look at ways we can do it:
• Help your neighbour by shopping for them.
• Aid you friends by messaging and calling them to make sure they are OK.
• Assist your community by disinfecting your bin handles.
• Lend a helping hand to the elderly and offer to be a support bubble for the lonely.
• Give assistance to your health service by staying home and looking after your health.
• Rally round people who suffer losses and help them continue on.
• Pitch in by collecting litter around your home area.
• Do your bit for your community by washing your hands.
