Vocabulary Showcase: Synonyms for “scientific”

This year has taught us how important it is to take a scientific look at life, especially when it comes to our precious health. In my quest to help you use different words and increase your vocabulary, I have prepared some synonyms for “scientific” for you. Let’s take a look together at these words in use!

·         Research-based – After a lot of hard work, Professor Hamster has reached research-based conclusions about how to make a vaccine.

·         Factual – Professor Hamster relies on factual information.

·         Empirical (from experiments) – Professor Hamster only accepts empirical evidence, from scientific experiments.

·         Technological (is not always scientific) – Professor Hamster is making a technological breakthrough with fluff-based technology.

·         Knowledge-based – Professor Hamster used a knowledge-based approach to research where he looked at other fluff vaccines and how they worked.

·         Methodical – Professor Hamster used a methodical testing system to see which hamster fluff worked best.

I’m glad the big brains like Professor Hamster have this covered, because I’m not fluffy enough, and I wouldn’t know where to start. I do take a very methodical approach to cat brushing… always start with the head.
