Happy Christmas and Thank You!

Happy and Not Merry?

I’m happy and Merry, but I’m British English and we traditionally say Happy Christmas. It is more American to say Merry Christmas. In 2024 though, it’s so normal to say Merry Christmas that lots of English people don’t know about Happy Christmas. So, say whatever you like!

Why Are You Thanking Me?

I’m thanking you for making me love my job. This is how you have made my life better this year:

  • You always teach me new ideas and help me to see things in new ways.

  • You understand when my body decides it doesn't want to work today.

  • Your hard work and good humour makes me love coming to our lessons.

  • Your interaction with my social media thrills me and encourages me to do more, and sillier things.

  • Your likes and shares give me a big head, but more importantly, they help spread the little free English lessons I make all around the world to people who can’t afford private lessons.

  • You make every day different, and often very strange and funny.

What’s Next?

I have plans! Believe me, I have plans, but I am going to save them for the New Year post!
