Kids Corner: Sock Lobsters - Literature for Children

sock lobsters.jpg

Introduce your children to the fun of excellent English stories for kids at a young age. Sock Lobsters, by Michelle Bulriss, is an excellent example of English literature for children that is modern, fun, engaging, and educational. The story focusses on the adventures of two sock lobsters and a cat. Their adventures take them through, love, friendship, and even loss in a thoughtful, moral, and educational way.

Reading to your children in English when they are young, will introduce them to English at an age where it is very easy and quick to learn a new language. Increase their vocabularies, and show them how easy and fun it can be to explore literature in English, as well as their native language.
Introducing English at a young age will help your Child to see English stories as fun, and a natural way to entertain themselves. Maybe they will pick up other English books and explore them themselves!
