Vocabulary Showcase: Synonyms for “leader”

Sausage is the leader of the puppy gang. I’m the leader of the Wright English team, which consists of me and two cats. Leader is quite a simple word though. Have you ever thought about other words for leader? Let’s take a look:

·         Sausage is chief puppy. He decides which bottoms to sniff.

·         Sausage is the principal puppy. He is always first to woof.

·         Sausage is the boss. He gets the first bite of the chicken.

·         Sausage is the puppy commander. The other puppies follow his lead.

·         Captain Sausage decides when it is nap time.

·         Sausage is the Puppy master. When sausage wants to play, everybody plays.
